After many years of shooting as a hobby, Joel Micah Dennis took the leap to making photography a career. Brooks Institute of Photography and Nashville State Community College helped him to make that dream come true. Upon graduation from NSCC with an associate's degree in visual communication with a concentration in photography, Joel hopes to make a name for himself in the local professional photography community.

Joel's love for music and travel has lead him to shoot many bands around the United States, as well as multiple portraits for press and albums. In the years to come he plans on reinventing the way that music is photographed and showing the world his vision for a new look in visual journalism.
